Oakley City water boil order lifted

OAKLEY, Summit County — A boil order issued to those using the Oakley city water system Wednesday afternoon was lifted Thursday evening, according to the Summit County Facebook page.

Water users are instructed to run their tap water for at least 15 minutes before drinking it, according to the Facebook page.

The boil order was issued after coliform was detected during routine testing, according to Oakley city water manager Bob Johnson.
