DRAPER — A two-alarm fire at a home in Draper Friday evening is out, officials say.
The fire started Friday evening some time before 8 p.m. in a house on Crimson Oak Drive, about a half mile from the Draper LDS Temple.
Many people were inside the home for a birthday party when the fire broke out, but no one was seriously injured. All fire personnel and occupants of the home are safe and accounted for, but one firefighter suffered minor burns.
Officials say the fire originated in the garage, but an investigation into the exact cause of the blaze is ongoing.
The homeowners won't be able to reoccupy the home tonight, and it was unclear Friday night when the family would be able to go back to the home.
There were no forced evacuations, but there was concern that the fire would affect neighboring houses. Ten units worked at the scene and were able to stop the fire from spreading.
