WAYNE COUNTY — Early Tuesday morning, two helicopters helped herd dozens of pronghorn antelope at a time into two separate traps.
"We have a surplus of animals," Division of Wildlife Resources Biologist Vance Mumford said. "For many years, the Parker (Plateau) has served as a source herd to relocate antelope."
About a hundred DWR personnel and volunteers helped round up about 300 of the antelope to move them to other parts of the state where populations are sparse. They gave KSL's Mike Anderson a chance to help "mug" the animals too. Click on the video above to see how he did.
