WEST VALLEY CITY — Joshua is a high school junior who could spend all day talking about motorcycles. He got the opportunity to spend the day at Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley City.

"I'm excited, way excited," Josh said.

Two pro riders acted as tour guides and showed him around the track.

"It just brings back good memories," Josh said. "I used to race when I was little."

He doesn't get to ride much anymore.

"My family pretty much sold all my bikes and everything," he said.

Josh was adopted when he was 5 years old but seven years later reentered the Utah Foster Care System. He's still waiting.

"I've been through rough things, but I know other people have been through rougher."

He's trying to get a job so he can buy his own dirt bike, but knows finding a family might not be as simple.

"I think I deserve that," he said. "I think I'm ready for that too. I'm just ready to be in a family with love and support."

Josh hopes the next time he spends a day at the track, he won't be leaving alone.
