USELESSFACTINGTON — It's Halloween and that means it’s time for teenagers to pretend like they don’t want to go trick-or-treating, adults to pretend like they also don’t want to go trick-or-treating and for kids to absolutely lose their minds because they get to go and get free candy from everyone in the neighborhood.
Well, everyone except the dentist on your street who hands out toothbrushes. You know who you are.
In an effort to get you even more excited to either get some candy, steal your younger sibling’s candy or shamefully eat your child’s candy after he or she goes to sleep, we’ve got some fun Halloween facts for you.
The YouTube channel Mental Floss loves to flood your already cramped brain with useless, interesting and fun facts. It has so many that it has to have its own magazine. Well, it does a list show where it feeds facts to you about a certain subject and this time it was all about All Hallows' Eve. Yes, it explains that name in there.
While some of these facts may help you seem more interesting at a Halloween party, the truth is you’d still rather be scoring free sweets.
These list shows from Mental Floss are actually a lot of fun and the host John Green will get a laugh or two out of you. He’s actually the writer behind the novel “The Fault in Our Stars,” so after making the world cry and wishing it had a Gus or a Hazel, the guy owes us a chuckle or two.
