SUGAR HOUSE — A man was critically injured after being hit by a vehicle in the Sugar House neighborhood Tuesday morning.

It was dark and the man was not in a crosswalk area, Montoya said.

The man was critically injured and taken to an area hospital.

Police shut down 2100 South between 1100 and 1300 East.
