AMERICAN FORK — Police are investigating recent reports of a truck being loaded with stolen bikes during early morning hours.

The truck is described as a Ford Ranger, according to a Thursday post on the police department’s Facebook page. Investigators believe it is a newer model manufactured around 2005 with unknown company logos on the driver and passenger doors.

“It has been reported the two men have heavy builds and have been seen loading bicycles into the truck,” says the police department post. “One report stated that the passenger was ‘checking doors,’ possibly to see if they were unlocked.”

Police said anyone with information about the truck or thefts should avoid making contact with the individuals and contact the American Fork Police Department at 801-763-3020.
