THE INTERNET — A proposal of marriage is a big deal, and many go all out for the event, like bringing in Paul McCartney or an entire town during the Fourth of July parade.
But one popular YouTube host took the sneaky route, crafting his videos from the past few months to propose to his girlfriend.
Craig Benzine hosts the WheezyWaiter YouTube channel, making videos in his home office about whatever he’s interested in at the time. Monday, he shared a video of his proposal to his girlfriend, Chyna.
For the last three months, Benzine has been titling his videos so the first letters spell out, “Chyna will you marry me?” when viewed in a playlist on his page. His 1000th video, named “? — (1000th Video!)” completed the sentence.
In the video, he asks his girlfriend to sit down at his computer and read the first letters of the titles, saying there’s an interesting pattern there. While she’s busy with the task, he opens a ring box and kneels down beside her in the office chair.
Luckily for us, Benzine recorded the sweet and intimate moment that might make you remember your own engagement (or look forward to it) and slightly weepy.
