Man stabs roommate in face, still on the run, police say

TAYLORSVILLE — Police are searching for a man who allegedly stabbed his roommate in the face late Tuesday night.

Around 10 p.m. Tuesday two roommates got in a fight at their trailer home in Majestic Oaks Trailer Park at 707 W. Big Mountain Drive in Taylorsville. One of the men allegedly stabbed the other in the forehead with a kitchen knife, Unified Police Lt. Justin Hoyal said.

The suspect left in an unidentified car, Hoyal said. The victim, 39, was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police have identified the suspect but are not releasing his name at this time.
