SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz added another hot-shooting guard to its roster Friday.
The Jazz announced the signing of free agent Dee Bost, bringing up a player who spent significant time with the team's D-League affiliate Idaho Stampede.
Bost averaged 15.2 points, 8.4 assists, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 steals in 50 starts for the Stampede last year. The 6-foot-2, 176-pound Mississippi State alum recorded five triple-doubles and 10 double-doubles en route to a 2014 NBA D-League All-Star Game selection.
The 24-year-old Bost also played for Buducnost Podgorica in Montenegro, where he averaged 8.3 points, 1.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds in 2012-13.
Bost will wear No. 2 for the Jazz.
