SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz announced their 2014-15 NBA schedule Wednesday, including a home tipoff against the Houston Rockets.
The Jazz will open the season against the Rockets on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. at EnergySolutions Arena — 76 days away, marking the third straight season Utah will open the season at home.
Utah will play four of its first six games at home, with the game against the Rockets followed by tilts against Phoenix on Nov. 1, against LeBron James and Cleveland on Nov. 5, and against Dallas on Nov. 6.
The Jazz's first road game will be on the second night of the season Oct. 30, when they will travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks at 6:30 p.m.
Other highlighted games include a home matchup against the defending NBA champion San Antonio Spurs on Dec. 9 at 7 p.m. and a road bout with the Los Angeles Lakers on March 19 at 8:30 p.m.
