SALT LAKE CITY — The next millionaire could come from Utah.

The show “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire,” which will enter its 13th season in the fall, is hosting auditions for contestants in the Salt Lake area Friday. Salt Lake is one of only three locations outside of New York City where auditions are being held for the 2014-2015 season, which will be hosted by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” actor Terry Crews.

Trivia buffs who want to compete on the show should go to the Valley Fair Mall Megaplex Theatres at 3620 S. 2400 West in West Valley City, between 7 a.m. and 10 a.m. for testing. Callbacks will be from 12 to 3 p.m.

A separate audition for the themed “Movie Week” will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Audition spots are given on a first-come, first-served basis to U.S. residents who are 18 years and older, according to the audition website. Applications and other audition information can be found online.

Those chosen to compete on the show are responsible for their own cost to travel to Stamford, Connecticut, where the show is filmed.
