SYRACUSE — If you think golf is boring and too slow to go out and play, a new set of course-specific wheels may change your mind.

The Golfboard is a surfboard-like motorized scooter that travels up to 12 miles per hour and allows riders to navigate around the golf course, clubs in tow and ready to play.

Glen Eagle Golf Course in Syracuse will begin renting the new device in August at $10 for nine holes, a new chance for those who want something different than a golf cart.

They're stable, smooth and easy to navigate, allowing golfers of any age to remain upright while zipping around the course.
