SALT LAKE CITY — In case you missed the Slide the City event on Saturday, a team of local videographers teamed up to capture the glory of the 1,000-foot water slide.

Local company, Slide The City, unveiled the water slide in downtown Salt Lake City on Saturday, July 19 from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. The slide offered two lanes — about 11-feet wide — and was set up on Main Street between North Temple and 300 North.

The giant slide was the first time Slide The City has opened to the public. Thousands turned out to enjoy the event and videographer Dakota Walbeck and local company, “Movement” captured the summer fun. Movement used drones to get aerial views of the slide and if you missed it — like I did — it makes you wish you had been there.
