LAS VEGAS — Malcolm Thomas had 16 points, three rebounds and three assists, and Rudy Gobert added 11 points and 15 rebounds to lead the Jazz to a 75-73 win over the Portland Trail Blazers in their NBA Summer League finale Friday at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Former Weber State guard Nick Covington scored 12 points for Utah, which got nine points, five rebounds and three assists from fifth overall draft pick Dante Exum and 10 points from Ian Clark.

Jazz point guard Trey Burke did not dress after contracting an upper respiratory infection, leading to Exum's first start at point guard.

C.J. McCollum led the Blazers with 21 points, and Will Barton added 14 for Portland.

Utah finished the summer league with a winning record at 3-2. Portland dropped to 2-3 for the tourney.
