TOOELE- Miller Motorsports Park is pleased to announce that Rockwell Watches has been named the title sponsor of the inaugural Amateur Motocross Showdown, an amateur motocross event that will support the Zions Bank Utah National, Round 12 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.

The newly renamed Rockwell Watches Amateur Motocross Showdown at Miller Motorsports Park will take place on Friday, August 22, 2014. As a part of their sponsorship, Rockwell Watches will provide all podium finishers in 19 classes with a custom Rockwell timepiece. In addition, Rockwell Watches will provide contingency prizes for 350 entrants.

The newly renamed Rockwell Watches Amateur Motocross Showdown at Miller Motorsports Park will take place on Friday, August 22, 2014.

The Rockwell Watches Amateur Motocross Showdown will will be an independently sanctioned event, run to AMA rules regarding bike size, classifications, etc., and will be hand-scored. Riders must race at the highest skill level attained in any other racing series or organization, or face disqualification.

There will be 19 classes competing. Pro classes are 250 Pro; 450 Pro; 25+ A; 30+ A; and 40+ A. Amateur classes are 65 Open through 11; 85 Open through 15; Supermini through 15; Women 9-13/Women 14+; 250 Novice; 250 Intermediate; 450 Novice; 450 Intermediate; School boy through 16; College boy 17-29; 25+ B; 30+ B; and 40+ B.
