STARK TOWER — Marvel movies has been making money hand-over- fist lately and every time a new film premiers people start buying tickets weeks or even months in advance.
With all the hype, however, it all pales in comparison to the excitement surrounding the release of “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
The follow-up to the third highest-grossing film of all time isn’t due in theaters until May 2015, but the first official photos of the film have been released to mess with fans' patience a little bit more.
The pictures from Entertainment Weekly include costume updates to Thor and Captain America, the first look at The Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver as well as the continuing bromance of Tony Stark — Iron Man — and Bruce Banner — The Hulk.
New plot details were also released as to the origins of Ultron. In the comics Hank Pym, Ant-Man, creates Ultron, but that’s all about to change for “Avengers: Age of Ultron.”
According to Entertainment Weekly, Ultron will actually be created by Tony Stark as a help to the Avenger team, which ultimately backfires.
“Avengers: Age of Ultron” has a scheduled release date of May 1, 2015.
