SALT LAKE CITY — The Governor’s Office of Economic Development announced the expansion of an online insurance agency and the expansion of a bakery's operations that will bring hundreds of jobs to Utah during the next seven years.

Consumer United, the insurance company, said the company is expected to create 400 jobs during the next seven years with projected new state tax revenues from the company estimated to be $5,268,757 over seven years.

CSM Bakery, in connection with the governor's office, announced it will expand its existing Weber County operation as the company adds a new cookie line this year and doubles the size of its current facility over the next six years. CSM produces a variety of baked goods, icings, toppings, fillings as well as laminated dough and pastries.
