SALT LAKE CITY — Two men were threatened with a knife when they asked another man to leave their property Sunday, police said.
Jay Gibson, 43, was sitting on a property near 2300 S. Highland Road when a man and his co-worker asked Gibson to leave at about 8:30 a.m., according to the Salt Lake City Police Department.
"Gibson refused and pulled out a knife and threatened both of them with it," a statement from the police reads. "Gibson started banging on a glass window with his knife yelling at both of them."
Investigators said the two men took pictures of Gibson banging on the windows and holding a knife with their phones.
Gibson was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault, public intoxication and criminal trespass and booked into the Salt Lake County Jail, according to police.
