SALT LAKE CITY — A Utah illustrator has worked on several DreamWorks Animation movies, and now he is writing and illustrating his own children's books.

David Derrick, originally from Farmington, has worked on several DreamWorks Animation movies including "Rise of the Guardians", "Bee Movie", "Flushed Away", and "How to Train Your Dragon".
