WEST VALLEY CITY — Jimmy Creten's Bounty Hunter had a Sunday double-up at the final night of Rocky Mountain Raceways' Maverik Clash of the Titans XVII on Sunday, August 11.

Creten lost the championship Saturday night against Larry Swim's Bigfoot due to a penalty. Harnessing the disappointment from last night's loss, Creten came out with vengeance. The Bounty Hunter team claimed the figure-8 trophy after defeating Darren Migues' Team Survivor monster truck in the final round.

Creten, a former Freestyle World Champion, swept the freestyle competition, claiming the high score and the crowd's approval. Creten also won Saturday night's wheelie competition.

#38 Johnny Pierre also went back-to-back, following up his Saturday victory with a checkered flag on Sunday. Pierre crossed the finish line ahead of #14 Alan Larson in second and #71 Dan Doan in third.

#16 David Baity won the Hornet main event ahead of #31 Dana Combs in second and #15 Roy Boots in third. ASA Weekly Racing will continue on Saturday, August 17 with the Super Sixes, Maverik Modifieds, Mini Cups, Figure-8 Cars and Western States Equipment Figure-8 Trains.
