SALT LAKE CITY — Utah wide receiver Quinton Pedroza was dismissed from the football team for disciplinary reasons.
Pedroza has been with the Utes since 2011 playing mostly on special teams. He has registered zero stats on offense in either 2011 or 2012 but was expected to play a bigger role at wide receiver this coming fall. Pedroza was listed as a starter after spring camp.
The hole on the depth chart could be filled by Anthony Denham, Brian Allen, or incoming JC transfer Andre Lewis.
