Crimson Corner: Northern Colorado breakdown with Tom KirklandKSL-TV's Tom Kirkland (@tksportsbeat) joined Mike Grant and Robert Jackson to break down the Utes' first game against Northern Colorado and a quick look ahead to the matchup with Utah State.

Utah kept Northern Colorado from crossing midfield en route to a 41-0 shutout win. What did they do well? What areas of concerns did we see? Should we be worried about QB Jordan Wynn?

Spoiler alert!

No. Wynn looked fine other than one throw, and even then it was into the wind. Look at who his offensive coordinator is - and how successful he was with the short passing game (see Sugar Bowl highlights from 2009). Bigger question is what happened to the receivers?

Two standouts that we saw: Tight end Jake Murphy, who finished with six catches for 78 yards and 2 TDs, and freshman QB Travis Wilson, who added two TDs on the ground.
