SALT LAKE CITY — Short post, but wanted to get the information out quickly. Will look to update this later tonight.

Today's Ute practice was much cleaner in overall execution, and the team seemed extremely jovial and upbeat. Here are some of my observations:

Jordan Wynn continued to play sharp and threw the ball really well.

The offensive line looks tremendously better than it did even just a week ago, with a large (no pun intended) part of that due to Miles Mason back out on the field.

The running game looked much closer to what we saw last year, with the line opening holes up for John White and Kelvin York.

Coleman Petersen has secured himself the placekicking position, while Nick Marsh will handle kickoffs. Sean Sellwood will be the punter.

Eric Rowe seems to be in multiple places at once. Reads play and is constantly in the correct location to make a play.

Depth. Depth. Did I say depth? WRs are 8 deep, and all can play.

Utah defensive back Reggie Topps to be reinstated after missing season opener against Northern Colorado.

I interviewed tight end David Rolf following practice - you all should remember him from his catch vs. Georgia Tech in the Sun Bowl. Check out his interview in the player above.
