PROVO — Utah running back Harvey Langi is on his way to BYU. At least, that's if you believe a post by a pair of his high school teammates on social media.

BYU defensive lineman Kesni Tausinga posted a photo on his Instagram account introducing Langi as “the new addition to the BYU football team” Monday night.

Teammate Manoa Pikula added a similar picture on Twitter.

“Everyone go follow the newest member of the team,” Pikula tweeted, followed by Langi’s Twitter handle.

Langi, Tausinga and Pikula were teammates at Bingham High School, where they won back-to-back state titles.

Langi played in 11 games for Utah as a freshman in 2011. He ran for 70 yards on 13 carries, including a career-high 33 yards against BYU. The sophomore recently returned from an LDS church mission to Tampa, Florida.
