SALT LAKE CITY — It was a great week of football for all local teams, with BYU and Utah playing in the annual rivalry game and Utah State taking on Pac-12 opponent USC. However, only Utah came away with a victory this week. The KSL Sports team has voted and they've selected receiver Dres Anderson as this week's Player of the Week.

Player of the Week:

Dres Anderson, WR, Utah

Dizzy Dres had himself quite the night in Provo. After running nothing but short routes nearly the entire first half, Anderson put on a double move to get behind the Cougar secondary. With a perfect touch pass from Travis Wilson, Anderson found himself zigzagging all the way down the field down to the BYU 1-yard line for a 74 yard gain — 44 of which came after the catch. The big gain set up a touchdown that put the Utes up 13-0 at the half. Anderson finished with eight catches for 141 yards as the Utes beat the Cougars 20-13, their fourth straight win in the rivalry.

Honorable mention:

Zach Vigil, LB, Utah State

Vigil had a career-high 12 tackles and a fumble recovery against USC. He also helped hold the Trojans to only three points in the second half.
