LOGAN — Utah State junior defensive lineman Sini Tauauvea was arrested and booked into the Ada County jail on two misdemeanor charges early Sunday morning, just hours after the Aggies defeated Toledo 41-15 in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
According to a Boise police report, the 21-year-old Tauauvea was trespassing at a bar in Boise around 2 a.m. He was told to leave but refused and got in a scuffle with security, pushing one of the officers.
Tauauvea posted bond and was released from jail.
Utah State head coach Gary Anderson was unavailable for comment.
