Utah coach Larry Krystkowiak addressed the play of Lorenzo Bonam and others during a team meeting this week. The Utes were coming off consecutive losses and Bonam was benched in a loss to Oregon on Sunday.
No matter the sport, coaches and players love to talk about the game not being won on the court or field but in the practice and preparation leading up to the game. The preparation is just an extension of what took place in the game.
Utah found itself on the losing side after controlling a 10-point lead late in the game against Oregon State. While the ending could be pinned on one player, it was a overall team effort that lead to Utah's demise.
National Signing Day has come and gone, though recruits are still faxing in Letters of Intent to join college football teams this fall. Some of them will be great players, and some will receive a free education from the college of their choice.
