SALT LAKE CITY — Star Lotulelei will make an immediate impact wherever he goes but being with Eric Weddle in San Diego, Steve Smith and Jordan Gross in Carolina, or Stevensen Sylvester in Pittsburgh in that defense would just be ideal. A little familiarity never hurt and these guys could get him acclimated.

Basically, it is pretty safe to bet that Star Lotulelei will go in the top 15. I would love to see him go to the Chargers at 11, Panthers at 14, or the Steelers at 17 (favorite team).

Here are the landing spots experts have picked out for Star.

Todd McShay - ESPN - 14th to the Panthers

Mel Kiper Jr. - ESPN - 14th to the Panthers

Josh Norris - NFL Network - 4th to the Eagles

Mike Mayock - NFL Network - 18th to the Cowboys

Mike Florio - Pro football talk (NBC Sports) - 14th to the panthers

CBS Sports guys

Rob Rang - 11th to the Chargers

Dave Brugler - 7th to the Cardinals

Pat Kirwan - 10th to the Titans

Pete Prisco - 11th to the Chargers

Peter Schrager - Fox Sports - 5th to the Raiders (via trade with Detroit who took Fisher)

The draft starts at 5pm MT.
