Give your wife the luxury of your time and attention by treating her to an evening of leisure while you do all the household and family tasks. Take her place for an evening. Send her off to read a book, watch TV, or whatever she chooses and take care of whatever she would normally do that night. This time off will do wonders to refresh her and restore her ability to face the everyday tasks. No matter what the evening entails, preparing dinner, running kids on errands, doing the shopping or laundry, or helping with homework, do it cheerfully and with the strict policy that she's "on vacation tonight."
Your willingness to fill in for her for a night speaks volumes to her about your appreciation for all she does every day. It also lets her know that you understand her struggles and you respect her efforts. It lets her know that she is your first priority and that she is special to you. It will also help her be more understanding of you and the things you do each day. It is a great way to feed your relationship.
