Salt Lake County got just a light dusting of snow Saturday but a storm system is expected to drop down from Canada Sunday and Monday could dump up to 2 feet of snow in central and southern mountains, and 5 to 10 inches elsewhere.

Unusual weather brings rare fire hazard for northern Utah

It's warm, it's dry and it's a perfect setting for brush fires to start, even though it is only February. With five blazes that were logged this weekend, state fire officials are warning people to be extra careful and to note suspicious activity.

UDOT plow truck drivers work round-the-clock with new snow

Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons received at least a few inches of snow combined. UDOT plow truck drivers are now on-call 24 hours a day to handle the snow.
