As part of the Chamber's 125th anniversary, we want to share the rich history of the members that have made the Chamber so successful.

Workers Compensation Fund was created with the Utah passage of the Worker's Compensation Act in 1917. This law required all employers to obtain workers' compensation insurance coverage. The goal of WCF was to provide competitively priced insurance to Utah employers.

Workers Compensation Fund now operates as a mutual insurance company, employs over 300 workers and has insured a majority of Utah employers for over 90 years.

The industries top-rating company has recognized the financial strength and longevity of Workers Compensation Fund —both important factors to employers when selecting a carrier.

The company's efforts to reduce accidents and control costs have paid off in a big way for Workers Compensation Fund employees. Since 1992, accidents involving Workers Compensation Fund customer's employees have been steadily decreasing.
