This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

When you think of home automation, maybe you picture an ultra-high-tech billionaire's home. You may see floor sensors so lights turn on as you step in front of your vanity or enter your walk-in closet. Or lights that turn off when you leave a room so energy is conserved. And then you probably think this isn't something you will see in your lifetime because of costs and available technology. But not anymore — home automation is already here, and Luxul Wireless is helping make it a reality.

Jeff Curtis has been the company president of Draper-based Luxul Wireless for six years. Luxul is known for their line of specialized networking products for the high-end home automation market. They produce the underlying components so home automation services can run on a network.

Jeff says Luxul Wireless understands that network users expect uninterrupted and dependable network performance. With this in mind, all Luxul products are designed to meet the highest level of performance, reliability and efficiency standards. That's one reason you'll find their products in use worldwide, in everything from residential and commercial networks to industrial and military environments.

Fourteen years ago, the company began life as an Internet service provider in Davis County, and were using WiFi signal-boosting technology as part of their company platform. However, Luxul has changed since then and is now diversified with consecutive, sustained growth for 20 straight quarters.

Customer support is a huge part of what they do and is what makes them special. They provide free lifetime support on products, and, if anybody has an issue, dealers and installers are great at AV lighting and everything involved with home automation. Luxul Wireless also offers a helpline, which makes job installations simpler and provides the necessary momentum to complete projects as expeditiously as possible.

All this means that Luxul Wireless has experienced solid growth over the past few years, exceeding a 50 percent growth rate at times. This results in more employment opportunities and greater chances for the company to make an impact in future markets in response to technology shifts.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
