This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

Every Thanksgiving Angie's restaurant in Logan sponsors their annual Thanksgiving Meal, where they serve free Thanksgiving dinner. They don't accept payment but will take donations which are given out to a local charity. After years, this has turned into a tradition employees and the community love.

Owner/founder Saboor Sahely came to the United States on a wing and a prayer. This is a man not afraid of rolling his sleeves up and getting to work. He started as a dishwasher and worked his way up to general management through a restaurant chain. Later, newly married to Kristine, he moved back to Utah to renovate an existing restaurant to become his own operation. He named it Angie's after his baby daughter.

Now, over 30 years later, "This is where the locals eat." Angie's is a classic diner that serves fabulous homemade food. You can get any food here, from eight different breakfast skillets to 12 omelets, including a build-your-own option, to burgers, melts, sandwiches and other lunch favorites like the Navajo taco. And for dinner they have nightly specials, like broasted chicken, pot roast and fish with homemade rolls.

By the way, dessert here is a do-not-miss! Angie's has a selection of cheesecakes, pies, and cinnamon rolls, and they're outstanding! You can even buy a whole pie to go. If you want to grab the kids and have an amazing dessert experience, you should consider "cleaning the sink" at Angie's. It's the biggest banana split you'll ever see, served in a miniature sink with a drainpipe! For finishing it, your picture is taken and hung on the wall of fame, and you get a bumper sticker. Many customers proudly display the "I Cleaned the Sink at Angie's" sticker.

Angie's has a dedicated and loyal customer base as well as a team of long-term employees, many who have been at the restaurant their whole working life. Saboor says it's critical to take care of employees so they offer vacation and benefits. They even have some customers who eat there three times a day, 7 days a week.
