This is Chris Redgrave for Zions Bank Speaking on Business.

When hosting an event in your backyard, you want everything to be perfect, from the food all the way to the music. So, how would you like the idea of having speakers that look like rocks to add to the party atmosphere? Or a subwoofer installed right in the ground so you not only hear the music but feel it as well? These products are among the many offered through TruAudio in St. George.

TruAudio manufactures home theater and architectural speakers and other electronics sold through a network of dealers who are custom installers. These products are varied from contractor-grade speakers all the way to their high-end B23, a complex home theater speaker system. They specialize in residential, commercial and industrial installs. Their dealer base includes contacts in all 50 states in the U.S. and also 70 countries. Just a few years ago they were selected as the affiliate speaker company for Control 4, one of the big names in audio systems.

Company president Bryan Garner says TruAudio is most known for their Ghost Series speakers. They were the first company to develop a grille that goes from edge to edge, to make a cleaner and more invisible speaker installed in the ceiling. In fact, they still hold a patent for the style, which is now an industry standard. They've also improved upon some existing designs in creating their catalogue of over 500 products.

All of the design, engineering, sales and distribution are done right here in Utah at their Hurricane warehouse. They also have another warehouse in North Carolina with a third to open soon in the Netherlands. There's also a logistics center in China, showcasing the global reach this Utah original has gained.

Today, TruAudio finds themselves expanding into a new venture. All their speakers require cable, so they'll now be offering it in bulk quantities, starting in November. With the expansion of their operation, Bryan says they're currently constructing a second building that is 27,000 square feet, which will also support their international expansion.

For Zions Bank, I'm Chris Redgrave, speaking on business.
