As a long-time designer, Laura Wolford has an eye when it comes to design. She's made it an important life mission to secure just the right items for her clients. And a key part of the process is finding great deals. With her business in Logan, The Valley Outlet, she can now offer liquidation pieces that will blow your mind.
Laura says The Valley Outlet is not a furniture store. It's more like an eclectic selection to make your home pop. And her inventory reflects that idea. She carries many popular and well-known design brands including Singer, Kitchen Aid and Palecek (pal-eh-check). Some of this is merchandise she receives from her partnership with Overstock and some is not. The Valley Outlet also features Knoal chairs for prices well below the list price.
Prior to opening The Valley Outlet, Laura was constantly making trips to Salt Lake City to pick up items for her design jobs. She loved the pricing model and the quality of designer merchandise offered at several outlets along the Wasatch Front. Then one day, the opportunity to tag in with major national retailers at extreme discounts, and she knew she had to take it. That's because, as a long-time designer, Laura knows a good deal when she sees it.
She's had many 54-foot trucks bring her an entire load of designer furniture and overruns that she could then offer in an outlet shopping environment. As an outlet, designers come to her all the time to see what merchandise she has available, which of course changes weekly. Her staff has grown to include sixr employees, including three designers, as well as her son, Jake Wolford, who manages The Valley Outlet on a daily basis.
Laura enjoys a broad client base of commercial as well as residential customers. For her it's all about letting clients see what their potential is. The Valley Outlet is all about her love of finding the deal, and then passing on the savings to you. Once customers recognize the quality they're being offered at a great price, they can't snap things up quickly enough.
