Just a few weeks ago we had the opportunity to watch some of the best athletes in the world compete in the Olympic Games. Utah's connection to the Olympics was strengthened with this year's archery competition, thanks to Hoyt Archery in Salt Lake City.
Archers wielding Hoyt bows were on the gold medal podium in every division in archery, including the first ever Korean to win the Men's Individual Gold using his Hoyt bow. The U.S. Men's Archery team also won their way to silver in the team competition with their Hoyt bows. That's impressive! All the archery events took place at Lord's Cricket Ground in the heart of London, normally revered worldwide as "The Home of Cricket." But, for a week during the Olympics it became the official "Home of Archery."
