You've probably seen coaches mic'd up during a game or for a pre-game or halftime speech but have you seen a football coach mic'd up during a closed team meeting the day before a big game.

Bingham head coach Dave Peck allowed us access to an emotional team meeting before his team played Lone Peak in a very important region game.

The team meeting gave us a never-before seen look into a program that has won three state championships since 2006. He reminded his team of the Bingham code of ethics which has played an important role in the success of the program. He also reminded them of the legacy left by past Bingham teams and told his players they have just as much talent as those teams.

Jordan Pendleton, a member of the 2006 Bingham state championship team and a former BYU Cougar, was invited to speak to the team. He shared his emotional story of his battle with injuries and challenged the team to play each game as if it were their last.

Then there was another emotional speech by Coach Peck on respect. He told players to respect their opponent, their classmates and women. He also stressed the importance of respecting their country. He got emotional when sharing the story of his Uncle Joe who was killed in the Vietnam War.

You can watch portions of the emotional team meeting in the videos above.
