Yesterday afternoon my 20 year old daughter Melissa texted me the message, "We should go out to dinner tonight to celebrate such a nice day:)" Drew who is 10 said, "We need the excercise anyway." That was close enough. Chad who is 12 was worried that Taylor, 17, who couldn't join us because of school would be chapped. "He'll get over it" everybody else said. Mom was happy she didn't to cook. Dad paid. We came, we ate, and everybody went home happy. Ah, the simple pleasures. I should listen to them more often.
