You could tell in Senator Hatch's voice that he was quite embarrassed, maybe even worried when his cell phone rang right before he was to give a prayer this morning at the National Prayer Breakfast. "Whoops! Oh dear," he said. Thankfully everybody laughed, and then he said something about how he never really knew how to turn that alarm off. After that there was more laughter thankfully. When I got the audio from ABC News of the event, and played it over the speakers in the newsroom, Adam Thomas checked his own pockets without realizing it. I even looked quickly at my phone in my purse. It's a Blackberry alarm -- "Alarm Antelope," to be exact, at the top of the list. It's the same ring that Adam uses on his cell phone. If you heard his 7:45 indepth on the subject this morning with Grant and Amanda, you would have heard him prove it by holding his Blackberry up to the microphone.
