Fridays are days that many people in the workforce look forward to hence the phrase "Thank God It's Friday." But for those of us in the broadcast news business, it's not quite the same. I brace myself for Friday afternoons. They tend to be the busiest when it comes to breaking news. It's like someone lets all the loonies out at 4:30 and they are running around the city wreaking havoc. We also have some of our biggest traffic accidents and backups on Friday afternoons. By the time I get off work at 7:00 on Friday, I'm not ready to party I'm ready for bed.
