I know. Spring is nice. We never get one. It's always cold to hot. After the past two weeks of on-and-off rain and thunderstorms, though, it's time for a change. One or two severe thunderstorms … great! Love them! They make good news stories, occasionally.
It's the middle of June and still nowhere close to a 90-degree day this year. We're supposed to get to 85 again finally this weekend. It's not I'm all about the 100-degree heat, but my self esteem seems to hurt if we're not good for at least a few of those days each year. Winter is too long in Utah. Bring on summer.
It isn't just the weather that's leaving people wanting this summer. What if you had kids at this school. At Dickson Elementary in Chino, California, the school kids are going to make up 34 school days to equal out a clerical error. Ouch.
