NEW HAMPSHIRE -- The big show hasn't even seen the final credits here in New Hampshire and already eyes are shifting to the prize of South Carolina and even Florida. And, the only two names that are buzzing here in the Granite State are Mitt Romney and Jon Huntsman.

With Romney, the issue is how wide will his final margin be and with Huntsman it's speculation about the possibility of grasping the silver medal. If he does, it could be the game changer the Huntsman camp has, quite literally, banked on.

Regardless of the insider you talk to, you can see their eyes looking South to the Carolinas. For Rick Perry, he'd better put on quite the show or he's done. He abandoned the cause here right after the Sunday morning debate to do some serious scrambling in the Palmetto State.

Many see whatever the Texas governor does now as an effort in futility and several others are deemed to not be far behind.

I had the chance to talk with the former Chair of the GOP, Michael Steele and asked him who the Obama administration feared most and he delivered a two part answer. Steele felt that the name most likely to cause the president's campaign advisors a bad case of heartburn is that of Jon Huntsman. Coming in second is the former Governor of Massachusetts. I'll share the complete interview on Tuesday's show.

By the way, we caught up with a gaggle of imported New York students marching and chanting for Huntsman on Manchester's main drag, Elm Street. Could it be that we ferreted out the only non-believer among them?
