The Healthy Way to Help Can you be too helpful?
If you notice when you pull off of an off ramp, you see people wanting handouts. It seems that more and more people need help. After a Jazz game, you see people needing money. I celebrate your giving spirit. What if I told you that, if you were doing something like Sub for Santa, that there is potential to be harmful? I don't want to discourage helping. I have a guest that will teach us about how to help in a healthy way. Have you ever questioned giving to the beggar? Is it a healthy way long term? In the end, do you have questions about what would be the best way to give? That would be a real gift. We have the obligation to help. How do we deal with that?
