Why Marriage? How to make a relationship last
I spend hours with couples that are struggling. Interesting; as I sit with them, I find that a lot of us are suffering with the same things. Even though we are all so different. We suffer from things that are physiological, psychological, sociological - things that have been manifest in our lives. Yet, what I have found, is there are still some very basic keys to make a relationship last long term.
I, personally, think we need to clarify the role that marriage plays in our lives. It's not the same as it used to be. We need to address that with our kids. We need to make our marriages a very strong unit for our society. It creates incredible results. It strengthens our family, our resolve, our community. It increases our ability so we are able to increase our money. The research shows that marriage enables more for all that to happen. Where does this all fit in your life?
