SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — The Utah Jazz said Thursday that they have waived Marcus Paige, Eric Dawson and Quincy Ford.

Paige was the No. 55-overall pick by the Brooklyn Nets in this year's NBA draft and was traded to the Jazz the same day.

He averaged 5.5 points and 1.5 assists in two preseason games. Paige faced an uphill battle as a point guard on a team that includes George Hill, Dante Exum, Shelvin Mack and Raul Neto.

Dawson signed as a free agent on Sept. 21 and played in just one preseason game.

Ford signed as a free agent on Sept. 6 after playing on the Jazz Sumer League team. He also played in one preseason game.
