SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Utah Jazz forward Gordon Hayward did not participate in practice because of sinus congestion, but is still scheduled to play Friday against the Golden State Warriors.

Jazz coach Quin Snyder said Thursday that the team's leading scorer was also bothered by the issue Wednesday night. Hayward was held to 11 points on 4 for 13 shooting during the 94-89 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers — eight points under his season average. He scored 24-plus points in the previous three games.

The Jazz host the Warriors on Friday and will need all the points they can muster. The Warriors lead the league with 111.1 points per game and their 36-7 record is the best in the NBA.

The Jazz are 0-2 against the Warriors this season.
