SALT LAKE CITY — According to sources the Jazz have signed Derrick Favors to a four-year extension.

This deal was first reported by Adrian Wojnarowski Friday night. According to Wojnarowski the deal is $49 million over the four years with some incentives that could push the deal up over $50 million.

Favors and Gordon Hayward were both entering the last year of their deal entering their fourth year in the league. Hayward is still without an extension.

Favors is expected to have a breakout season with Al Jefferson and Paul Millsap leaving. Last season per 36 minutes Favors scored 14.6 points and had 11 rebounds.
