SALT LAKE CITY — The Utah Jazz will play in the Orlando Pro Summer League from July 7-12. The league will have a new format as it welcomes 10 teams.

The new format will have each team playing five other teams and there will be a championship game on Saturday the 12th. The Jazz will start by playing the Heat on July 7, The Rockets on the 9th, Nets on the 10th, Pacers on the 11th and then some team on Saturday.

The championship games will be determined by a point system. The winner of a game gets three points, the winner of individual quarters gets one and any tied quarters each will get half a point.

The teams, other than those mentioned above are the Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons, Oklahoma City Thunder and Philadelphia 76ers.

The event is not open to the public, but recaps and stats will be available online.
