OGDEN — With the NBA draft only 15 days away, the Jazz are taking a look at everybody they can, since they only have five players under contract and have the 14th and 21st picks.

Weber State's all-time leader in 3-pointers made was one of two players who worked out for the Jazz on Wednesday.

Scott Bamforth, along with another guard, C.J. McCollum out of Lehigh, went through the drills for Ty Corbin and the Jazz brass.

I worked hard and just want an opportunity.

–Scott Bamforth

This was the first workout for any NBA team for Bamforth, and even though he was one of the best 3-point shooters in the country in college over the last couple years, he hasn't had a lot of looks from NBA teams — but that isn't keeping him from trying.

"I worked hard and just want an opportunity," Bamforth said after his workout Wednesday morning.

Bamforth has had to overcome many tragic events in his life, including nearly losing his wife and son just days before his junior season at Weber State.

Here is the story of Scott Bamforth that aired on KSL on March 3rd, 2013.
